Stamp idea

has anyone ever made their own stamps on snapfish? I just played wit the idea...and I kind of like it-- Would that be too informal for a wedding initation? I am trying to keep everything elegant and formal so I don't want to be too cutsy.
I wish I could post what it looks like, but it wont let me-- its black and white.

If you are using a more elegant picture, then why not! I have seen this idea and love it. I think it would be very elegant.

I am actually using my monograam and making stamps out of that from snapfish.

I didn't know that snapfish did stamps!

I've seen the ones from photostamps.com and zazzle.com, I will probably do something custom for the stamps if I have the $$ when its time

I'm researching the prices.

Zazzle.com: For 39¢ postage (sheet of 20), 2-9 sheets is $15.99

Photostamp.com: For 39¢ postage (sheet of 20), 2-9 sheets is also $15.99

and OH! I just clicked the stamps on Snapfish and they redirected me to photostamps!

i think the picture stamps are a great idea. If you want the stamps too look more formal and elegant maybe you can do them in black and white?

ETA: I i didnt realize you posted theyre in black and white! Then i think itll look really nice!

Here's one difference between the two:

Photostamps are only horizontal.

Zazzle stamps can be horizontal or vertical.

Question....will your invites require more then a 30cent stamp if they are an abnormal size? Or are you just using the stamps for your thank you's?

I think square are additional in postage.

you should probably bring your sample to the post office so they can weigh it, etc.

also, for anyone who doesn't have photo stamps in their budget we used these for the save the dates, i thought they were cute & different from the usual wedding ones
