Stamp Price Increase

Not sure if anyone posted this yet, but I just read that the post office is increasing the stamp price to 44 cents starting May 11.

yeah... i heard about this... it prob pays to just buy some forever stamps and not worry about it ...

i mean.... a stamp is the last thing i look at on an invite... so why bother getting the 'love' ones...

i wanted to use to yoda stampsyes i said yoda LOL
but they stoped making them
oh well maybe they will come out with something else silly rather than mushy lovey dovey stamps.

i think our rsvp's will get the forever stamps sinve some might not come back untill after 5/11.

forever stamps are 42 cents now.... but even if you buy them for 42 cents now after the rate increse they will still be good.... that was the whole purpose of the forever stamps.... whatever postage is thats what they are good for

Ugh I knew this was going to happen. My mom bought us over 200 stamps for Xmas for our invites. The thought was great but I worried about this. I don't know if they will take them back.

So annoying!!! My FMIL bought me stamps for christmas and now it will look terrible to add a 2 cent stamp to each RSVP because the envelope is so small. So I called my mom to complain and she was like when are they going up? I told her May and she said I'll buy them off me and add to it and made a sound like she is just missing the cut off and my shower invites will be going out right after that time. So I said thanks mom, now I have an idea of when my shower is now.
