Stamp Question

Stamp Question

Does anyone know when the wedding stamps are coming out? I went to the post office and they said they are not coming in until June but didn't know a date of when they are coming in and apparently you have to buy the wedding stamps as a set. You can not purchase the 2 sets of stamps seperately. Does that make sense??

I bought the 0.63 cent wedding stamps seperately. I used the american flag 0.41 cent for my responses.

Re: Stamp Question

I bought the wedding stamps already?? Unless they changed them

I had to buy in a set, the .39 and .63

Not sure if these are actual 'wedding stamps' but they are pretty

Oh and since I needed 0.41 , I added 2 cent stamps to the RSVP card with the .39 stamps.

Just an FYI - I think the oversized two ounce envelope postage is now 97 cents. Double check with your post office before mailing oversized invitations.

Yes, Put an invitation together and bring it to the post office to have them wiegh it, before you buy stamps. They will tell you which stamps you need to buy,.

Re: Stamp Question

Yup...my invites (which were pretty light & were NOT oversized) required the forever plus a 17 cent stamp.

The forever stamps are actually quite nice: not the bell...but the fact that EVERYONE knows them as the 'forever stamps'. My FH put it best when I asked if he thought we should look for a more wedding-like stamp: he said 'It's the forever stamp...what would be more appropriate'....awwww....
