I sent out my invites today and ending up using this one for the outside envelope:
and the True Blue birds on the response envelopes.
I would have preferred the new purple & green ones but didn't want to take a chance that I wouldn't be able to get them right away.
After a lot of thought, I decided the canyon looks nice enough, and I probably spent way more time thinking about stamps than all my guests will collectively anyway.
Yes I totally agree.....they are going to see the stamp for all of 2 seconds....I think my OCD was just kicking in a little bit!

im so mad now. I got the two blue birds for my reply cards. but I had to get a flower 60 cent stamp and those red white and blue 3 cent stamp for the large envelope. they are so ugly. now your telling me they are coming out with a wedding stamp? can I return these?
Why don't you use 2 of the blue birds on the outer envelope? It cost a little more, but it will look nicer and match...

Re: Stamps
You can return them. I bought the same thing you did at first and did not like it at all so I went back to the post office and pleaded with them to let me exchange for the blue dove stamps and they said no problem. So I just put 2 of the blue dove stamps on each envelope. It costs a little more but it was worth it.

Re: Stamps
I've already sent out about half with 2 .37 stamps. I didn't know they had a .63 stamp at all. I'm going to do that. Don't care at this point what kind of stamp it is, just want them out.
thanks for showing your stamp. I would have never have known.

Can't you design your own stamp? I was thinking about having a photo stamp made.....
You can, for extra money. I did this through zazzle
I put a picture of a wedding cake on mine I'll try to scan it later.

Re: Stamps
We used the true blue stamps, and just used 2 on the outside so everything matched.

I got those two stamps also and I mailed them out saturday. I didn't think it looked so bad. I guess I didn't care much. It's only postage. I'd keep them, mail your invites out with them and wait for responses. People just throw the envelope out anyway. I can't remember ever casting a judgment on the stamps my friends' used to mail me an invite.
