Isn't the .39 cent stamp going up to .41 cents & the .63 cent stamp going down ??

yes .63 is going to be .58 instead. the rates go into effect 5/14, but the wedding stamps won't be available until June 27th.

And stamps at the new rate - though not wedding stamps and in limited designs - are available for purchase now.

I just purchased my stamps for my invitations that went out today so here's the deal:

For the wedding stamps - $0.63 for the invitation and it is not reducing in price
For the RSVP - $0.41 but they don't have the wedding stamps yet, soooo, you have to get the $0.39 wedding stamp and buy additional $0.02 stamps (which are really ugly in my opinion).

Or you could just have exact postage printed on by a postage machine... (I think I am going to do that)

They are going down to 58 cents for sure. The second ounce is going down to 17 cents. 41 + 17 = 58

When are the 68 cent stamps going down? Anyone know the date? Is it the same as the 39 cent increase?

The 58 cent stamps is in effect on May 14th as well but won't be available until June 13th. Kind of silly if you ask me.

we are doing our own invites and I think we were over the .63 one last time I weighed it at work in our mailroom....

We are sending out invites this week so we bought the old Hersheys Love stamp-its cute and red but we are rushing because yes prices go up on the 14th and I don't know what the grace period is. So retarded. All they have for 41 cents is flags or bells. We went with flags for response card-go us, we're desperate..erm..

here is the deal... my rsvp datge is the 19th.... and I did not realize until after I sent them out that I only put the 39 cent stamp on... do you think the post office is going to let them slide..... I am so nervouse b/c there is no return address...
