Re: Stamps
Depends on your invites.
Go to the post office with a complete invite (including all inserts) and have them weigh AND measure it.

I went to the PO with my complete invitation (including the RSVP, direction cards) and it cost me $.58 total for each. I ask about the RSVP's and they said since they raised the price on stamps, it's $.41 cause it's not considered a post-card type and that doesn't matter the weight. If it's in an envelope, it's considered a reg letter. Bring it to the PO and ask...

As far as the RSVP goes - - if it is smaller than 3 1/2 x 5 in size it could require an extra 17 cents postage. That might be what some people are referring to. I think the majority of reply cards are OK with just 41 cents.
If you have a square invite or oversized that too could require an extra charge which is why ,as suggested, it's best to have them look at it. In fact, I was told because I used wax seals I might have to pay an extra 17 cents IF it was too THICK!! It wasn't but with the new increase the PO is worse than banks at charging extra fees!!!

I went to the PO last night and got my stamps..Check this out--because my envelope is too square i had to pay an extra .58!!!! So all in all it will cost me 1.40 to mail each invitation!!!

Re: Stamps
We got away with .41 stamps. We had a plain, single page invite with no inner envelope and the only enclosure was the RSVP card and envelope. I was glad cuz then we used the new Star Wars stamps!

Re: Stamps
Make sure to have it weighed. Mine is costing 97 for invite, 41 for response card.

Re: Stamps
You should go to the post office and have it weighed because the new postage regulations don't necessarily just take into consideration weight, but also shape, size, width, etc....
