We're getting ready to mail our invitations and need to buy nice stamps. What stamps did everyone use? How much postage did you need? What post offices have a good selection of stamps?

Re: stamps
I haven't looked into it yet, but as far as I know, they have LOVE stamps and then they weigh your envelope for you and tell you what you need, alot of people, I think go over the amount, just so they can use the LOVE stamps, I don't think those come in anything less than the standard, if you look into this, please let me know.

Re: stamps
There are new LOVE stamps....Your invitation will probably need a .60cent stamp and the response card a regular.37cent stamp. Hope this helps

Re: stamps
We used the love stamp. 60 for the big envelope, 37 inside. I looked everywhere and all of the post offices have the same as what they have online. Look up the post office online and you can see all of the stamps. I bought mine at the 3rd avenue and 55th street location at the stamp store.

Re: stamps
I bought my stamps online from the postal service, and I definately recommend doing that. You can see all the choices, and know they'll have the quantity you need. They only charge like $1.00 for shipping -- which is well worth avoiding a line and aggravation! Here's a link:
the only suggestion I will make is that before you buy any stamps, you bring your invites to the post office for weighing...

Re: stamps
I will order my stamps online too. First I'm going to weigh everything. Right now I'm going to weigh my STDs so I can mail them out this weekend.
Does anyone know how long it takes to receive your stamps when you order them online?

Re: stamps
It takes a couple of days.. I ordered a whole bunch back in June, but the reason I had problems was because of they were discontinuing the old LOVE stamps and the news ones weren't coming in until mid-August.. just give yourself ample time..

Re: stamps
The sent my stamps via Priority Mail, so unless they changed policy it takes 2-3 days. (Don't cut it close though if you can avoid it!)
