STAMPS

did you order the pretty stamps for the outside?? or do they have them in the post office??
which ones did you girls use???

My invites cost 58 cents each and they had them there. They were purple, and if I remember correctly it was a heart!

I ordered the purple (41 cents) and pink (58 cents) from the post office website....charge $1 extra for postage and came in two days.

My invites were soooo expensive to mail!!! $1.98 EACH

I was able to use 2 of their $1.00 stamps, the colors sort of match the invitation colors

I needed something on the smaller side, the custom stamps from zazzle.com and photostamps.com are pretty large.

Those are the ones I got and bought them at the PO...the pink ones went on the outside and the purple ones when on the response envelope.

Having 2 different colors really helped me keep track of the difference in price...so that I didn't accidently put the wrong stamp on the envelope

It depends on the wieght. The purple ones were for my rsvp envelopes and the pink were for everything.

I ordered mine from zazzle because my options for a 75 cent stamp were horrible.

They do sell the heart ones for 58 cents at the post office.

Zazzle was more monet. but I loved them!

all depends on the weight of your invites. my response cards are taking a first class stamp ($0.41). The invites containing everything will take the larger $0.58 stamp. We're using the heart stamps. I just couldn't bring myself to pay more for zazzle, though it's a very cool idea. pinching pennies where we can!

i bet i'll be using the heart stamp as well, since there's no money left for customizing stamps! i wish they had the snowflake stamps like they had last year ... or the kiss love stamps they had before the price went up!

My invites cost $1.14 EACH to mail, plus the RSVP stamp.

I ended up ordering custom photo stamps (I made the picture sepia tone to go with my brown (and blue) theme). They cost more money, but in the end I'm happy I got them.
