Stamps

Which stamps did you girls use? Did you make customized ones, or the standard heart from the post office?

We used the standard hearts....honestly it just wasn't worth the extra expense to me to get personalized ones...

We used the Liberty Bell ones, for the invite and the RSVP card

Re: Stamps

my invites were. $1.34 to mail each one and the combination of stamps to add up to that just looked ugly so i would have had to waste money to have the extra wedding stamp on there so i ordered the personalized from zazzle. the expense ended up being the same... hoewever i used our engagement photo and FH has never been made fun of so much by the boys...lol

Re: Stamps

Standard heart from post office for RSVPs and I made customized stamps for the outer envelope that matched a design I had on my invites.

Pics in my albums.

Re: Stamps

I am buying stamps this weekend. I think for the outer one i am getting the wedding hearts one - i just need a 59 cent one so it's easy. And for the reply .... I am probably going with the red heart one - there is a little guy holding up a puffy red heart? If they don't have that at the post office i will get the wedding heart 42 cent one.

we are moving to NH next year however so we would like to get a NH stamp for the reply, but i am not sure if it comes in 42 cents. online it's just 72 but the lady at the hunt. post office says all the 50 states stamps are 42 ...

Re: Stamps

we used the $1 stamp. If we wanted to do the heart stamp, we needed two and we would have ended up wasting money for 'pretty' stamps....

I totally agree and nobody cares that you did or didn't have personalized stamps.

Re: Stamps

im going to weight mine today. if they are more than the stamps offered by the USPS, (and i'll need to have 2 on an envelope) we are buying personalized ones from zazzle. if its a normal stamp price and they have the stamps for that price already - im going with that.

i used these for the invites

and these for the rsvp

honestly I received a lot of compliments on the fruit stamps on my rsvp postcard, but i dont think anyone would go out of their way to say to themselves boy these stamps are ugly. save your $$ & get regular postal stamps.

Re: Stamps

Just do the regular stamps...nobody will really notice whether they're customized or not.
