stamps for invites...

stamps for invites...

I just got my invite weighed and it costs 97 cents to mail it... it looks like the only stamps that will send my invites are ugly
The pretty wedding stamps are 39 or 41 cents so that won't send my invites...
anyone have any suggestions?

You could put one $.58 love stamp & one $.41 love stamp if you don't mind spending a couple cents extra per invite.

Put more than one stamp on each envelope! You would need 2 regular 41 cent stamps and then a 15 cent one, if they make that .... if they do, that's only 3 stamps .... but if they do not make a 15cent one, I would not put more than 3 stamps, that would look like a lot of stamps on the front. (Oh, I think they make 20 cent stamps.)

OR

Do you know anyone who works in an office building where they have a postage machine? You can ask them to print you out labels for 97 cents each and then pay them for the postage .. it would look very clean. Some people who work in medical buildings have this, and if you know someone well, maybe they can help?

The post office may be able to do this for you too. Not sure. Or, you may be able to print the labels at home through the USPS website ... ?

be careful about printing labels - post offices wont accept individual metered labels after a day or two...

The new heart wedding stamps are .58 and 41. They are pink and purple.

I don't understand why they won't send them with the purple .41cents and the green ones on the outter envelopes. I had the .39cents [last yr mid you] and then the outter envelope was like .67. or .69 something in the high 60's.

You can also do stamps theough zazzle but they're a little pricey. Try: www.zazzlestamps.com or google it. They have pretty ones! ! They're big tho... I did them for my wedding thank you's.

Good luck!
