Hi, I'm new here and have been lurking and learning so much from everyone :) Does any one have any opinon on Stan Wiest as a solo singer? We are having a small intinmate wedding in a lovely italian restaurant and just decided we would like a keyboard/ singer there. We have interviewed a few and have an appt with Stan also. Just wanted some feeback in anyone can offer some. Thanks :)

i dont know about him as a solo singer, but in my quest to find a dj and ceremony music he was very helpful

i met w him....hes really nice and seemed rreally helpful. his full band just wasnt my style.....but otherwise he was really nice
fh thought his house was a lil creepy tho, haha there r swords hangin all over the place, he kept saying 'were gonna die'

We met w/ him-my father was INSISTING on hiring Stan's band, but it wasn't our style. He's a great guy and he's so helpful and has tons of ideas for different types of music to use. We met w/ him and stayed for 3 hours!! He even took us downstairs in his house and played his piano for a little bit. He was great but FH and I ended up going w/ a DJ. We were going to hire him to play piano @ our cocktail hour but our DJ gave us a great price to hire a piano player for the hour.

Thank you all for your replys......we met with Stan today and he is a very sweet man......we hired him for the wedding......he will be playing keyboard and singing, We want more dinner music for the wedding......very small wedding......in a wonderful italian restaurant in Little Neck (Conti's on Northern blvd) the food and service are amazing!!! Stan will play instrumental & sing.(Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennet , Beatles and a varity of others).......he makes himself available anytime you have questions and we felt we were in good hands. Mentioned on the phone with him that we liked The way you look tonight and he played it on the piano for us......he plays beautifully. Will write a review after the wedding.
