I know there prolly really is no such thing, but, when tipping vendors and Maitre d's at the end of the night, what is the normal tipping percentage? The idea of the amount of money i'm going to be spending on tipping is making me crazy.

I believe there's an article with percentage amounts on who much you tip each vendor. Like some vendors would get a 10% tip while others may receive 15-20%

we gave our DJ $100 for him to split with his MC & our Photographer $100(for the two of them)...we also gave our video guy(even though he was one person) $100 because he was fantastic. Gratuity was included for our Limo but i think DH gave him a little extra(but if its in ur contract u dont NEED to)
We were told by our BM to tip our Maitre D anywhere from $2-$6 a head...well we had a 225 guest wedding which would've put us at about a $1200 tip had we gone in the 5-6 range...it just wasnt in our budget! U do what u can afford.

I was given a rate by our RH for the Matre'd and bridal attendant. but as for our other vendors, we're prob. going to tip around $5-7/hour.
