Standstill

Standstill

Good morning ladies,

I feel like I'm at a standstill point in my planning process. Once we booked the venue, we already had the DJ, then came the church and then photography. Before all that I had already started to pay for my dress. Now, the dress is being stored at his family's house.

All of that said, I haven't really booked or paid for anything wedding related in a couple of weeks.

I have been looking at limo quotes and getting some feedback from florists but that's about it. I kind of like this break and being 1 year plus away I still think I'm ahead of the game. It probably has to do with the fact that I'm attending two weddings in one weekend soon and I'm just laying low with the planning of mine.

Either way, hope y'all had a great weekend.

I, too am at a standstill. We booked RH, caterer, DJ, and hotel rooms. Now we need an officiant, book honeymoon, invitations, and many more!

Congrats on getting so much done! I will unfortunately never be at a standstill do to way too many DIY projects, but we have almost everything booked too which is nice. All the big things that are left are limo, DOC and favors

It totally happens and sometimes I feel its a good thing - i think having a mental break is always good.

Like you said - you have a lot on your plate right now. You have a lot done so you are doing great in regard to time. Once life settles down a bit I am sure you planning will pick up again but its always good to give yourself a break!!!

Re: Standstill

your so right to take a break in your wedding process.
i still haven't booked my limos and my wedding is 9 months away!
you'll be fine. limo's and flowers you don't even need to book or even begin to look for those until the 1 year mark. sit back, save and relax being an engaged woman
