Starlight Express vs. Tommy's Tunes

HELP US PLEASE!!!! We are looking into both of these DJ's and are hoping to get some feedback from you all - We saw starlight @ a showcase and were VERY impressed but Joe E. from Tommy's spent 2 hours talking to us and we kinda liked him enough to consider him an uncle SO, when it all comes down to picking a DJ, what is the most important things to look for???? Thanks Ladies

Re: Starlight Express vs. Tommy's Tunes

well both get great reviews so either way it would be fine.

I booked with starlight express so can only talk about them from experience, vinny was so great to deal with. I also personally liked that they dont use dj equipment and they use concert equipment. Alot of girls on here even said that their FH's who are into the tech part of this or knows equipment well for dj's were impressed with starlights equipment. They even have a sound guy who worked touring with rock concerts such as aerosmith and others who will come to your hall get the dimensions, how many guests you have and will give you concert sound that fits into your room.

But i didnt meet with tommy tunes so cant compare the two

i hear theyre both great. but decided to go with FM entertainment. they were so much nicer (not that the others werent thought) and the price was unbeatable. as soon as we met them, we knew that was it

I booked with starlight express... I felt that they gave me everything i was looking for... The owner vinny actually sat with us and went over every detail even though they were so busy... They made me and the FH feel like we were apart of the starlight family

Re: Starlight Express vs. Tommy's Tunes

Joe E was the MC for our friends' wedding...we was amazing...so much energy....lots of fun. We went to Tommy Tunes and booked the following week (and requested him of course!) He came in while we were sitting with Tommy and remembered us right away (names and all!)

I recommend Tommy Tunes all the way!!
