Started my 4 week long Pre-Cana

My church had us meet with a priest & 2 couples on Sunday (for about an hour) Turns out one of the couples are a married couple who my FH & I will meet at their house on 4 Mondays. The other couple is getting married in Feb. We went to their house & just talked (no Priest involved) it was nice. I think I prefer to do it this way then the one whole day thing!

We did a similar program for Pre-Cana and we really enjoyed it. The couple that we met with was really great. I give them credit......they talked about their relationship in depth with us, which for a lot of people would be difficult. And it definitely brought up some topics that my FH and I hadn't dicussed.

I'm glad to hear your doing a similar program. I would recommend it to all the couple that are required to do pre-cana.

i went to my first pre cana last week, it was a bit weird. first of all the couple that they set us up with was previously divorced both husband and wife second mariiage which i thought was very odd- ecepecially since this a catholic church, fi and i not sure if we like it that much, they seemed to dwell on the neg aspects of marriage too much.
