started planning out my day of timeline

anyone else start doing this yet?

i literally stared at my excel sheet for like 4 hours trying to figure out how long to take pics for, what time to get to the venue, etc.

and i'm pretty sure i looked at every 'wedding timeline' 'wedding schedule' and 'wedding itinerary' search result on google lol

not even close to that. i'm still trying to book these vendors! hoping to book florist this week

lol i haven't booked my vendors either (except the RH, photog and video)...i'm totally getting ahead of myself, but i was bored at work haha

yes I've done this. Though I am sure it will change arounda little when I start to book my hair and makeup and finalize times with vendors. But I feel the way I have it now won't change much.

well here is what it looks like so far:

somtime before 11:00 - Hair appointment (unless the person is coming to my house than I'll have to figure that out)

11:45am - Makeup Artist arrives (doing me, my mom, and 2 BMs)

12:30pm - would like the flowers to arrive

1:00pm - Photographer is arriving.

1:30pm - would like to get dressed (pics of me getting dressed

2:00pm-2:45pm - portrait pics, pics with BMs and other misc pics

2:45pm - limo arrives at my house

3:00pm - ceremony begins

3:45pm - ceremony ends.

3:45-4:30pm - receiving line and pics at church

4:30pm - partybus leaves with WP for pics at separate location en route to RH

6:15pm - WP arrives at RH. I am also going to arrange for an early shuttle from the hotel to arrive with immediate family around the same time so we can get those pictures out of the way before CH starts at 7:00pm

So I guess in total, before the CH starts, I am leaving about 2.5 hours for pictures

that's definitely helpful, thanks!

the problem i'm running into right now is that i have decided to see FH before the ceremony to do pictures. but i don't know if we should do our 'first look'pics at the hotel where we're getting ready...or at the RH where we're getting married. that would determine if the entire WP could ride together from the hotel to the RH or if i need separate limos.

such a predicament. lol

hmmm... well if the hotel you are staying at has a nice location for pictures than I would do the 'reveal' there to make your lives easier. Otherwise I would just make sure your WP knows that they have to be ready to go at a certain time, get in the limos and then have the pics taken at the RH - although you may have an issue running into your guests arriving for the ceremony and you may not want them to see you.

i hadn't even thought about the guests seeing us. yikes.

what i had planned out so far is this:

1:30 Photographers Arrives @ Hotel (some getting ready pics)
2:00 Guys leave hotel
2:15 Girls leave hotel
2:45-3:00 'First Look' pics @ RH
3:00-4:00 WP pics @ RH
4:30 Ceremony starts

*Guests can arrive as early as 3:30, so I guess I should push everything back so pics are over before 3:30?

and to answer your question...we haven't booked the hotel yet, but of the 2 that we're looking at there are no fantastic picture spots. i wanted our first look pics to be in the vineyards...i envision FH standing on one side of the vines and me on the other...and then we walk around and meet each other while the photographer captures it. so corny, i know. lol
