Was anyone at St. Anne's in Garden City for pre-cana? Even though FH complained about the Giants game, it was not bad at all. We moved around and talked to other people and the priest said we'd be out in a hour cause he wanted to watch the game too! haha

We did Pre cana already and I actually got a lot out of it. So did FH. I was surprised it was not as bad as I pictured it AT ALL.

We were there, too! We talked all about your lawyer story after--about how your relationship loses when you win an argument! Good stuff!

While I was sitting in the room (for the few minutes I was there) I was wondering if any of you ladies were there. Too funny. What a beautiful church. I cant wait to get married there

So you guys did this at a church? FH got the call and he was saying it might be at someone's house?? Is that normal? FH father is a deacon and he does this.. I heard he has done it in their house.. but since I've known FH I havent heard of anyone going to their house for it.

The first one on Sunday was at church, then we have 2 at the homes of married couples, then a session to plan the ceremony and the last one is a mass that family is invited to

Wow so how long do these sessions usually run? I have a problem because I would like to get married (June of 2010) on LI, since this is where I have lived my entire life... but I am moving to Ft. Lauderdale this August to start med school. I am getting married just weeks after my first year is over. So how can I possibly attend pre cana sessions when I will be living so far? And it isn't easy to just fly home for a couple weekends when I will be studying like a fiend for med school. Any suggestions?

I am living on LI, but getting married in MD. They told me I could do Precana up here. I went through the Rockville Centre diocese and found one that is just one weekend, all day Saturday and all day Sunday. So you could do that or do it in Ft. Lauderdale.
