Starting a diet...

Starting a diet...

Good evening ladies...

Just thought I would share with you the fact that I need desperately to go on a diet. I think with everything going on - and my hip issues - I haven't been paying attention to what I eat and now my clothes aren't fitting. So it be time for a diet!!!

This part will sound silly - but I need to somehow shrink my chest (literally). Does anyone know of good exercises for this? I'm planning on doing the South Beach Diet again since it worked so well the first time I did it...and I will start walking again (hopefully).

Next on my list is mac & cheese - that's going to be hard since it's my most favorite thing in the world... but so fattening

If you buy the EZ Mac packs they are only in the 300 calorie range... comparable to a Lean Cuisine frozen meal. DOnt give up what you love, it will definitely lead to diet backfire!!

I eat all my favorite foods in small portions and have lost 15 lbs in 4 months.

I definitely think that you should allow yourself to eat the things you like. If you use portion control, you should be good. I have been doing Weight Watchers and I love it. I still get it eat things that I like and I've lost 30 pounds.

everyones making great suggestion but if shrinking the girls down is what your looking to do it will all depend on the precentage of breast tissue that you have if you gained weight and they grew then losing weight can and will shrink them but I know that for me I was a 38/40DD and even after losing 50 lbs or so only the band size went down to a 34/36DD. Just figured I would give the heads up so you are not too dissapointed if they don't go anywhere
Good Luck!

Re: Starting a diet...

Doing chest exercises may actually increase your chest size. Typically, losing weight in general will cause them to shrink. This has happened with several of my friends including myself. However, maybe I was wearing the wrong size bra before, but when I got re-measured for my bra size, the only thing that went down was the number, not the cup size since the cup is a measurement around your girls compared to the measurement around the area right below them.

I can say this much...gaining a few pounds was the reason for the chest increase...it was the BC!!!

I actually joined the gym with 2 of my friends. I been watching what I eat...I allow myself to have some 'bad food' but as long as I go to the gym I dont feel guilty.

My FH aunt went on Atkin's diet and this shrunk her chest and her belly. Unfortuneately it comes back if you don't eat somewhat healthy and exercise regularly. Good luck.
