Starting my search.

I'm meeting with amore video tomorrow and lewmax photography next weekend. Anthony from lewmax is even going to do a complimentary photo shoot at the meeting! I'm so excited! Anyone know anything about either vendor. Any tips I haven't met with any photo/videographers yet!

Hi. I do not know anything about any vendor, but here is some advice.

Be sure to ask about proof ownership, how many hours, how many photographers, what is their turnaround time for the final product, what albums are included. As for video: what video features are included in the final video (i.e, HM montage, baby pic montage, etc), how many copies of the video. Be sure to ask to see a sample video if they have one.

I definitely agree!
Make sure to note their style..... more photojournalistic? or more traditional?

Also, make sure that the person you meet is the person who will be taking your pictures!

Read over the contract really well... be sure to note the cancellation policy (in case you decide to change vendors, or if something else happens).
Make sure that you're getting ALL proofs of pictures taken on your wedding day... see the minimum number of proofs they'll provide...
