So FH and I are excited to start pre-cana tonight. My parents were telling us their horror stories about their experience and ACTUALLY walked out of pre-cana!!! FH's parents also didn't have a pleasant experience either, so we'll see if that tradition is passed on to us.

pre-cana is very different now than it was back in the days...Fh's mom even told us how different it is and we did pre-cana this weekend and our host couple were telling us that it used to be a host couple, the priest and a doctor so he can talk to them about sex. So dont go by your parents experiences

We didnt--there was a 'miscommunication' with our church. FH and I went to book our date back in December (15 months prior to the wedding date). We were told that we will be notified about pre-cana in early October, and nobody contacted us. So I called the rectory and it started last week!!! So we're 1 week behind on pre-cana but will make up the first session and can't do FOCUS until January![]()
