just spoke with all of my venders....and most of them want payments in cash......ugh........

they may PREFER cash (to avoid paying income tax / sales tax), but they can't really demand it. best they can do is ask for a certified bank check....

yeah, unless the contract states that final payments must be in cash only, you should be able to give them a certified bank check.

most vendors will only take cash, certified checks for final payments and will most always say 'no' to credit cards and personal checks.

I understand that some vendors ask for cash because they don't need to pay tax (illigal but you pay less). However, you need to be careful and make sure if you pay them cash you have a receipt/contract stating that in such date you pay them such amount of money in cash full. make sure it sign it and write down their full name...just incase they screw over. You don't want head-ache on your wedding day.
