Starting to get so overwhelmed!!

I am sitting at my desk trying to hold in tears. The work on FH's house is not going as planned. The more were are doing the more problems we are having. Just this weekend alone we found out we need a total new roof- we have termites in the garage- the washing machine AND air conditioner both broke. Not including the renovation of the 2nd floor to make it livable for us so FMIL can live on the 1st floor. Every weekend we are finding more stuff that has to be done. Between this and the wedding planning I just want to give it all up. I just cant do it anymore.

I feel your pain. Just out in a $2500 cesspool and had to order a $1000 window bc mine is rotted.

tackle one thing at a time. Most important to least.

how many layers are on your roof? is it leaking? i know some companies arent experienced so they say just to rip it off and get a new one or add another layer. dhs company specializes in finding leaks.

I am so sorry Celia I completely understand!! We have a small crack in our main water line. So...right now we have half the driveway ripped up from when they diagnosed the problem in November!! We couldn't fix it then because the ground was frozen so we had to wait until spring.....and now we have no money for it due to the wedding! So I will be living like this until the fall. I swear I feel like I live in the trashiest house on the block!! It will all work out in the end...just try to work on one issue at a time and try to not get overwhelmed!!

Its not leaking YET- but after the winter we had the slates are coming off. What we are afraid of is since its slates and they are coming off that they are going to either cause damage or hurt someone. Everyday we are finding pieces of the roof in the driveway or on the lawn.
