What are good areas to live in Staten Island??

none! LOL its like a landfill and there are literally potholes EVERYWHERE! the traffic is insane!

I always thought this too, however I've seen so many beautiful areas with trees everywhere. Back in the day, this was an area where ppl had garden houses to get away from the city.

Not sure what area I was in, but it was so nice!

its just like everywhere else really. they have the really bad parts, the in between parts and the super nice parts. i remember years ago when everyone was moving there to have some grass and a backyard.
overall its ok, but i could never live there, too far from everything and not enough good to counteract this. it really does stink with all the traffic and potholes

the management company i used to work for have buildings on Victory Blvd... other than that, the only other area i know is Totenville, and its pretty expensive out there

I used to work there and have a few friends that still live there.
Nice areas- Westerleigh, annadale, tottenville.

well if you work on lower manhattan then the commute to the city isn't so bad, but other than that I can't think of a reason to move there unless you work there.
