Staten Island / Brooklyn Brides

I am new to this LIW site. A good friend recommended it, she also mentioned I should reach out to fellow brides.

I am wondering if there are any Staten island brides out there (or Brooklyn) that could recommend Excellent Hair Stylists , Make up Artists, Florists, & Limos.

For hair and makeup I HIGHLY recommend House of Trends. They do the best hair and makeup on the Island.

As for limos - I tried to book with Romantique but they kept playing games with me. We were trying to book a limo bus and they kept saying it was at their other location. Then I would call back a few days later and they would say the same thing and tell me to call back a few days later. Finally, I started to wonder why I kept chasing them around? Clearly they didnt want my business. I wound up using Camelot Limos (I dealt with Joe the owner). I found them on liweddings and I am so glad I did. They were ontime, the limo was clean, they knew where they were going, the driver was courteous. I highly recommend them. They get tons of good reviews and they deserve them.

For florists - I just went found my florist - Sam Gregorios on Forrest Avenue! Amazing! Sam the owner is a sweetheart and his designs are amazing. I met with him after meeting with Carrolls and Moravian and he was by far and away the cheapest and his sample was WAY nicer than anything the others had shown me.

I agree, Sam Gregorio's is great-- also heard really nice things about Flowers by Bernard.

I've been going to Bamboo on Richmond Road for a while now and they do a relly nice job. Also check out Salon Neo on Forest Ave.

So nice to meet you...Thanks for getting back to me! I actually booked Michelle & Jessica already from House Of Trends. :) I heard great things about them.
The only this is they are already too booked to come to my house. I live 5 minutes from the salon but I was trying to get people to come to my house, Everyone keeps telling me it will be easier.
I heard bad things from a good friend about Romantique, so I definitely won't use them.

I will definitely contact the limo & florist you recommended.

I already got married - I am having a reception in August. I went to House of Trends on my wedding day and I loved it. It is nice to take a little time away from all the chaos going on at home on the morning of and just relax. I was happy to get out of the house.

I have heard of Dash of Class - they have very mixed reviews. I've heard both good & bad things about them, but I can't really give you a personal opinion cause I never used them. I am using a friend of mine, I can give you his site. I know him for like 10 years - he has the best personality and he really cares about his clients!!!!
