Can anyone suggest some Staten Island wedding venues? I know of Nicoltra's Vanderbilt & the Lake-Club so far. Other suggestions appreciated! Also reviews of the one's I've already listed.

Those are probably the only places I'd recommend on the island

South shore country club and there are two on Hylan Blvd. One large one right near the police station and the other near Midland Avenue. I'm sorry, but I'm having a senior moment and can't think of their names.

I think the ones on Hylan are the Excelsior and Reinassance

My family lives on Staten Island, so we looked there:
There is the Staaten (which I personally don't like).
We also looked at The Grand Plaza...the outside leaves a lot to be desired, but the price is right and the inside is beautiful. They were working on a cocktail hour room when we looked, and the design looked beautiful. FM me if you want more info

That's them...thank you very much!! It was driving me crazy not remembering the names of those two halls. They both do a very good wedding and other events.

Hi girls!!! im having my wedding in staten island and we picked the grand plaza... my soon to be hubby and I went for a tasting and it was outta this world, it was white glove service just for the tasting and the food was soooo amazing!!!

hi girls, don't know if u're still looking for a SI venue but my wedding was two weeks ago at the Vanderbilt at South Beach and all I have to say is that this place was beautiful, professional & the food was wonderful. the only complaint i got was that during cocktail hour, the room was too small for 300+ ppl and the valet guys at the end of the night was very messy, they pulled up the wrong cars to ppl, i will do a full review soon but please do consider the Vanderbilt...it was a good wedding ( =
