STAY AWAY FROM DAVID'S BRIDAL!

I have 3 adult girls in my BP.
The mOH and the other BM got their dresses without a hitch...except long wait time but htats norm. Anywho The other BM ordered her dress at a later date and now 20 days B4 the wedding DAvid's bridal told her that they cannot find the dress. She did not have her paperwork with her and apparently since she order ordered her dress separately..all Bridal ino they had pertaining to me is deleted once the girls in my party get their dresses..so basically they have to search through all the orders and let he know Monday..all because she ordered it separately. They are fill of Bull***t and I am oh tooo happy to go to Carlye Place and let them know this is the IT age and they have to do better than that.

The only good thing is that they would express order it from a store that has it in stock....If they dont....It will be two dresses being changed since both BMs must match. Th emOH had a different dress anyways so she will be fine.

I totaly agree that David's is a pain. I had my own horrilbe experiance while shopping for gowns. My problem though is that my bridesmaids are spread out over the country. Any suggestions as to what to do with that? I was thinking of buy the dresses using their measurements and then letting them go to a seamstress. Does anyone know of any other places that are national?

You could pick a designer that her dress could be purchased at a salon in a different state.

Wow..Im upset to hear this..I am planning to order MY dress from them , just buy it and have it altered elsewhere...not the girls though and I think since I hear the dresses usually come in faster then other places will go soon, so I can guarentee to have it...that really sucks, I hope you get it figured out!!! good luck!

I haed girls spread out all over too. I ended up picking a dress at an online place and had all the girls get measured and then call in their measurements and oayment ifo. It worked really well and the girls loved their dresses. They were also pretty inexpensive. FM me if you want info on the place.

I am having my girls get their dresses at Davids Bridal... but my FH is from upstate so after hearing all this I may order everything from the David's Bridal near his house... I have heard so many mixed reviews about the one in carle place...

I got my dress, FH, and MOH dress at David's in NJ. We had no problems what so ever....they were very nice and accomodating. Plus....no sales tax in NJ!
