staying local

hello! we are postponing our honeymoon because we wont be able to go this summer. we would like to stay somewhere local maybe fri 7/7-tues 7/11.

when i say local, i mean local enough for the limo to take us straight from the reception in riverhead.

we were thinking somewhere out east, but we dont know where to stay. we just want to relax for a bit and not spend a lot of $.

How about somewhere in the Hampton's or renting a place on Fire Island.

How about Montauk? There are some great places right on the ocean. Check out Gurney's, Panoramic, Wavecrest etc.. Go on tripadvisor.com for reccomendations. Also look into the North Fork. If you are into wine tasting you could do that for a day and also hit the beaches. There are some cute B&B's up there. Good luck!!
