did anyone send them yet? or are you waiting till its a year away?

i know its supposed to be sent a year away but if we have the date - why not send them?

i got the magnet ones so they can be put on the fridge and wont get lost or forgotten in the 2 years

what do you all think?

i was thinking of sending them with my E-Party Thank yous!

My wedding is in January 2, 2011 and i'm going to send them out in mid January the year before. I think a year is more than enough in advance. I asked this question and most people said to me send them 8-10 months before the wedding and maybe up to a year before if your wedding is on a holiday weekend or a day that people would need to take off work for.

I think if you send them too early....they will likely get misplaced and people, unless they are my mother, won't have a calendar yet for 2011 to write it down in. But then again they could still just leave it on their fridge. If you put time and money into your STD I would wait till it gets closer to send them out. You can still announce the date to everyone at your e-party and send a msg/email or call close people to let them know you set a date.

Hope that helps! Remember its really up to you though...if you want to put them in with your e-party thank yous than go for it! it's not going to hurt.

I think I'm going to wait to send them- although I think the idea of sending them with your Eparty thank yous is really cute. Maybe you can still incorporate it somehow with a line like: 'We look forward to celebrating this special time with you at our wedding on July 10th, 2011'. Something like that, & then send a more formal STD closer to the 1 yr mark. This way you can still share the excitement of having your date set, & send the reminder closer to your day.

i think it really depends on what you want! we are taking epics the oct before the wedding and then sending them out...

i really loved the idea of mentioning something in the e-party thank yous!

I wanted to order them soon but we want to do e-pics first..I am sending them about 10 months out.

My wedding is on a Thursday so I will prob be sending them somewhere between a year & 1 1/2 year mark. We're having our engagement pics done in September & from them they will make our save the dates & its all included in our package...I think it depends send them whenever you want to! But I do love the idea of the E-Party favor!!!
