So how many months before the wedding do you send out save the dateS?

A year or less. We sent ours out in Feb and our wedding is in Oct.

I'm going to send them btw 10-12 months in advance b/c 70+ guests are OOT. But generally I think 9 months is pretty standard.

were sending out in 10days approx. They're being made as we speak! And my wedding is nearly 5 mos away!

We did ours 9, but that's because we have a lot of OOT guests that would need to fly in from ALL Over, and also I have guests that have to give a lot of advance notice for vacations. Our Wedding is on a Friday

My date is 9.4.11 I was thinking about sending my Save the Dates out in the next couple of months only because its on a holiday weekend. It is too soon though??

I did mine about 11 months before, especially since I am a holiday weekend.

I am sending mine out in the begining of May. They come with my photo package and it was like pulling teeth to get FH to agree on a day for our Epics. So they are going out 7 months before. I feel like that is a little on the late side but I guess its better late than never!
