Since its halloween I thought how cute it would be to send out STD that at first look like halloween party invites and when people open them they see its really our save the date cards. I thought it would be cute. What do you think?

Well pretty much never send mail to any of theses people so I doubt anyone would just toss them aside. We aren't the type that send a card out to people on labor day and stuff.

it is a very cute idea, very different.
i personally am not sending out any save the dates...it is something about the whole idea of sending out 'STDs'

I think its cute, besides, the people that your sending these invites/ STD's to all should know your personality, so they would expect something like this from you. For example my cousin one of my co-workers is very much so into gothic things, and we all know so when she gave us ideas of her wedding it wasn't a shocker to us.

Don't feel that way, everyone has different taste. I actually like when people have different ideas such as yourself, instead of the same dresses, and ideas

Well I don't, I can't speak for everyone else. I like seeing your ideas. Don't think I would use them a little too much for me , but I think there cute, and unique, in fact you should check out 'messipaw's' post about wedding expectations, I think you'll like it

LOL I saw it. Just WAY too much ground for me to cover there. FMIL expect us to have a quite, traditional civil service wedding. My grandfather expect me to get married in a church with a male minister. He though a fit over pastor April from the church of acient ways. I could go on.
