So I was originally planning on going to the mall, taking our pics at a photo booth, holding up signs that say save the date, then going to CVS and printing a ton, the end. However, I just started thinking that people that I have not seen since I was a child may not recognize us in the STD. Our names will obviously be on the envelopes but should we do a traditional STD where we include the location, time, and our full names?

Re: STD format
You should definately have your full names on the STD-- we just got one in the mail a few weeks ago-- It had a pic but no names at all! It turned out that it was a friend of DH's from work- but I had no idea!!
The photo booth is cute- is there a way that you can incorporate your names?

Re: STD format
You really do need to have your name on there. Pluse your website.

Can the sign you hold up say 'save the date for x & y's wedding?'
That way you still have the cute sign and your names.

I don't think you need the location and time, but your names should be on it. In some photobooths you can make a customized header... maybe you can put your names there? It may be hard to find a photobooth that allows this option though. Maybe you can just write your names on the STD in a pretty way before making the copies at CVS.
This is a very cute idea BTW :)

I'm trying to think of a way to do this. I feel like the sign looks too crowded with save the date then our date then our names. I'll have to try a few ways.
