I have a question! We got our beautiful save the date magnets from magnetqueen.. they are GREAT..... we love them.. they are the mid-size ones.. bigger than a business card but not HUGE.... does anyone know how much POSTAGE they require???????
I am just curious because I want to go out and buy stamps......

take them to the post office with the envelope and weight them on the scale. it will tell you how much postage you need.
Also... VERY IMPORTANT.... you must must must put some sort of thin paper.. i think a sheet of stock paper would be good... in the envelope behind the magnet... if not the magnet can stick to mailboxes, post office machinery ect and your recepients will not get their magnets. Test it out on your refrigerator. I know a few brides whose STD magnets did not make it to some of their final destination. I for one, did not receive mine. of course, they aren't sure how many people did not receive them b/c they didn't ask everyone, but a few we know of didn't.

OMG, i wish i would have read this before i just sealed ALL my envelopes yesterday i guess im gonna have to hope everyone gets them!!

sounds like you got the size we did. i had them in their clear plastic sleeves, and taped them (with double sided tape) to a card we cut out of card stock. In our envelope it still only needed a 1st class ($0.41 at the time) stamp. Put one totally together, mailing labels and all, and bring it down to your post office to weigh it before stamping them all.

I think I also had gotten the size that you are talking about from MagnetQueen and I did the same thing and they only took the regular $0.41 stamps as well. Better to be safe than sorry best thing is to go to the post office and weigh it to be sure.
