How many months before your wedding did you all send out your STD's? I just got my STD magnets yesterday and I'm getting married on 11/6/05. Is April too soon?

April is fine. STD's should go out anywhere from 6 - 12 months in advance and you fall right in the middle of that range. I sent mine out about 8 months in advance.

i sent mine out end of december/beginning of january, for a may 28 wedding. it was more than enough time.

really? My FMIL was surprised I even ordered them now. She thought they should go out in June. I already blocked rooms at 2 hotels and would like to get that info out with the STD's.

DO you think this is odd...
JUST got STD card for wedding in JULY of 2005
(my fiance who is from ecuador, said well it is a Spanish thing, they dont need to plan as much....I dont think so!!!!!!) I think we are an after thought
What do you think?????
My wedding is in July 2006 and I wanted to mail then in june is that ok????

The wedding is July 2005, it is only 4 months... which is fine for the invitations, but I thought it was too late for the STD's.

Well you may have been on their 'B' list, or... like your FH said, they do things a little bit different.
