I had planned on sending save the dates when the year mark rolled around but I was also waiting on FH to get his addresses together. Fast forward 3 months, still no addresses from FH and no Save the Dates sent out. I realize it is 9 months until the wedding and I am wondering if there is any point in sending a save the date. How late is too late to send a std? Should I just send my invitations earlier? I know the STD I want but I haven't order it yet either. Please let me know what you think.

I m sending my STD 9months prior to my wedding. My STD will b send out on Jan (the first week) and my weddin iis 9/25.

My wedding is 1 month after urs and I still haven't send the STDs out and don't plan in doing it 'till Jan. U still have time, just don't wait too long.

You can still send. I'd say anywhere between 7-9 months you should be good.

I think youre fine! I did mine at around the 1 year mark, but I read somewhere that they should go out 6-9 months before the wedding. Just send them out as soon as you can

My wedding is June 3 and I sent mine out Nov 3. So I say ifyou want to send them send them!

i sent mine out 9 months prior because i was waiting on taking my e-pics... i have a lot of out of town guests and thought that any adnvance notice was good

according to 'the professionals' unless your having a destination wedding STD's aren't totally necessary.
however up-to 6 months prior is fine
and your real invites are sent about 3to 4 months prior

I was told between 6-9 months is ok. I'm getting married in November and I'm sending mine in February
