STD mailing questions

OK, so we are gathering the addresses for our STD's, we still have quite some time but I dont wanna be rushed when the time comes. What did you girls send out with your STD's? Did u send hotel info, etc?? I was also wondering what you guys did when blocking hotel rooms for OOT? Is that our responsability to hold them? Ok thanks so much!!!

Okay, I mailed out my STD's about a month ago, maybe three weeks..I don't have OOT but both my brothers did so I have an idea what to do. You should put hotel info with the STD's. You call the hotel, block off rooms and get a reduced rate. Block rooms for approximately how many people will be booking. Maybe a few extra. Tell the hotel for your wedding and give both of your last names. When your OOT call to make the reservation they say your names and get one of those discounted rooms. Make sense? Hope I was helpful

Stacey, you made perfect sense!!! Now i see the light hahhaah. We really wont have many OOT guests either, so i guess ill just give the hotel the # for all the oot guests invited and go from there! thanks so much
