STD- Need Your Opinions

Ok so I need to get my save the dates out ASAP.

I found a few and need some advice/ opinions!!!

I really like the Tile Magnet, but how do you mail it out making it look nice?

The tiles are about 1.65 each
The Tie The Knot area about 2.25 each

HELP ME DECIDE!!

Will the tile be able to fit all the info? I have a feeling you may spend more $$$ on it through shipping b/c the best way to ship would be in a little box - I'm assuming the size and maybe weight of it would keep an envelope from being an option!

I like the tile b/c its different but I feel like the Magnet is going to be more useful.

The tile is a magnet. She said I can use a bubble mailer, but those are ugly! lol I feel like the only thing the tile won't include is the 'formal invitation to follow.' But if people get a tile I was thinking they might be like what the hell is this?

Does the company provide envelopes for either ? The company I went with provided me with envelopes & my return address on all of them. I think the magnet with the tie will prob be the better of the 2 just bc of shipping & handling costs. Otherwise they are both adorable!!

Hmmmm I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEE the tile... I agree bubble wrap is not very attractive though. Mailing could get pricy on the tile option.

those aren't as bad of envelopes as I imagined (like the orangey yellow bubble ones)

I used fresh impressions. com ..I designed my own magnet. We got a photo & calendar on ours & the colors I wanted to go with my BM dresses.

HA! I was just responding with a similar link as you posted the metallic envelopes! I think this is a perfect idea if the mailing cost isn't too high. I personally spent a total of 100.00 for my STD's (I did postcards) because I didn't think it was something to really put alot of cash into plus it cost less for postcard stamps.

But if you are going to spend the money... my vote is the tiles!

I think the 'bling' bubble wrap takes away from the elegance. I don't know. Why do girls put too much thought into these stupid things?

LOL.. its a hard choice. They do have plain white bubble mailers that would work out perfectly! Very wedding-ish!

P.S.. I really think the tile magnet would be very unique.. I have NEVER seen that and would be excited to get something like that in the mail!

My FH really likes the Tile too. Just wondering how to mail it out and make it look elegant. If I do bubble wrap then I have to make mailing labels so it could end up looking tacky. Thats my only concern. The lady from the knot STD said she does return address and its only .44 domestic to mail it out.

This might be the most practical way to go then... I am really surprised the company who does these tiles doesn't offer a nice tasteful wedding style packaging. Very odd!! They should offer a better solution than bubble wrap.. something like that really needs a package design

Seeing if I can get one tile magnet sent to me to figure out the postage. If not im going with the knot one. Id rather spend a fortune mailing out the invitations!
