STD postcards: what's on the back?

Hey all,

so, we're designing our STDs... we're doing a postcard. Does anything go on the back, did you do something decorative for the side where the addresses are going?

if your doing postcards i am thinking you mean the whole face side of the postcard or you mean the mailable side of the postcard?

Mailable side of the postcard leave around 3.5-4 inches from the right side blank or only use the top half of it for your return addi. The few inches that are left use your 'save the date' and some minor info.

I would deff. include the date (duh), your names, website if you have one, and location and something a little cute like a picture of verbage.

i wouldn't include too much on a post card because it's open 'for the world to see'. if you've created a webpage/email address, that would be good to include. DON'T PROVIDE A PHONE NUMBER.

i'll see if i can find a cute 'saying/poem' to include on the back.

please post a picture of what you've created.

oh oh oh!!!!

there were so many 'samples' i didn't know which to point out to you.

google image 'save the date postcard' and you'll get a lot of samples on what to put on the back.

i thought this would be best, since i don't know the theme/formality of your postcards.

The idea was this- some kind of picture on the photo side, along with the date, and website. I'm just wondering if we put everything on one side, what should we do with the other side of it.
