STD Question....

STD Question....

Would it be really bad to put 'Adults Only' on the STD?

We are going to be sending them inside our Christmas cards & some I am sending to families w/ little kids...

Honest comments please.

i dont think you should put it on the STD. you can always make a notation in your invitation.

I agree w/ you guys, we'll probably just send out the families w/ kids STD later by itself.

We were in the same situation....I am trying to remember what we did since we sent our STD with our Christmas cards last year. I think we ended up sending certain ones separately or put a separate smaller envelope inside the card addressed to the whole family. It definitely was tricky. GL!

hmmm.... you got me thinking.... we have a lot of oot guests (like 75% of our guests) and we are having adult reception. i would hate to send the std with no notation of this, for them to book travel arragnements for them & their kids, and then for them to get the invite that basically says adults only. your post has made me think that i'll breach ettiquette and put a note in the std.

I wouldnt either but I would be very specific who you address the STDs to. I wouldnt put 'Smith Family' rather 'Mr. and Mrs. John Smith' so if anything leaves them with a question, your guests MAY (not promising anything here) at least call you to find out if their kids are invited and you can address things earlier.
