StD question

I am getting ready to send out my StD's, and had planned on including the registry cards. is this rude? I know it's not right to include the registry cards in the invitations, but we aren't inviting more than 20 people in the reception so I don't know how to get the cards out.

Don't the registry cards normally go with shower invites? Or at least,. the places you're registered at are mentioned on the invite, no? Forgive me if I'm wrong, I'm new to this too!

It will get around through word of mouth. The only time a card should ever be included in any correspondence is in a shower invite, which would be sent out by your girls. Most of the time, people will ask where you are registered.

I would NOT send the registry cards out with the STDs... if people want to know wher eyou registered they can always ask...

yup everyone is right, you are not supposed to send out your registry info yourself...only for shower invites bc that is thrown by someone else...also most people in nyc give money for a wedding, so they won't really give a gift, they do that for the shower.
