I am enclosing a card with hotel info on it in my STD, because I have a number of OOT guests. My mother seems to think it is tacky to include the hotel price on the card, and I think we should put it, just in case the hotel tells them a different price for whatever reason.
thoughts? Are any of you girls doing this?

In lieu of prices - if you have hotels with different price ranges you can list them as luxury, budget, moderate, etc

My main concern is that if we don't list the price, what if they call the hotel and give them a different price?

My friend put prices on her STDs and her invites....I didn't find that tacky - but thats my opinion - I appreciate knowing that information. In the end, its what you and your FH decide. Everyone is going to have an opinion.
I personally will probably put the prices in where I block hotel rooms.

FH said he would rather know the information also. I think we might include the prices with the STD's, and just put a reminder in with the invites, with no prices. If you didn't book before when we sent out the STD's, then it's not our problem!

Our STD packets include: A Postcard std w/ our names & date on front & general location, On the back: we say where the wedding will be & where we have blocked rooms for those traveling,
We have that centered on a few pages worth of detailed information regarding reservations, including price.
We tied both together w/ gold paper twist, after we send 'em out I'll post pics I'm just waiting to get the address for FIL's list..... I have another 2 weeks to go til when I send them.
