On the STD, should the location be the church or the RH? Does it make a difference? I'm just listing the city and state, but I'm not sure what to put.

You dont have to put either. You can include the line 'Formal invitation to follow'

We have a lot of oot people coming so we just put Long Island, NY since the reception is here and eliminated the confusion that we meant the city

I didn't put a location at all! If you do, just do something general like 'Long Island, New York'.

I'm not doing save the dates but from what i've seen people don't put locations. As mentioned, i'm only seen the date and 'formal invitation to follow'.... and your names of course
