STD question

when is the appropriate time to send out the STD's --i am so clueless when it comes to this stuff...

I was going to send mine out 9 months in advance but FH never got me addresses, same reason we never had an e-party, lol.

My BFF (Angl2001) sent hers out 11 months before.

i know what you mean about adresses.. trying to get FH to get adresses for his side was like pulling teeth!!!!!! Thankfully i'm close enough with his family to get up and do it myself or we wouldn't have had an eparty either!

i was gonna send mine out a month or 2 after my eparty..which would be a year.. but that's because i know my family.. lol. They need as much notice as possible or i'll hear ..'oh i didn't know it was a friday.. i have to check my schedule...' lol

If you have a lot of out of towners its good to send them out 9-10 months before. This gives them enough time to book hotels and get vacation time off.

We sent them out a year in advance - our wedding is early in the year, a month after Christmas...so we wanted people to know WAY ahead of time...for purposes of planning...

I just ordered mine last week and I'm hoping to send them out next week... so it will be 8 months before the wedding. I have the same problem with getting addresses for FH's side... what is so difficult?! Plus, his parents have a list from his sister's wedding... all they have to do is remove anyone who's dead (his dad's words... lol) and we're good to go!! Anyway, I plan on bugging them for the list all weekend!!
