STD-- rant I received first batch!

I'm so annoyed......

we revised our STDS 2 or 3 times and then finally ordered them on NOV 7th from

www.galleriaventures.com

for some reason i thought they would take 5 days.....

anyway now its almost 3 weeks later and i still don't have them. My credit card was charged on the 17th so i thought they would ship soon after, well finally today i got a response that they would ship and that i would receive a tracking number. I have yet to receive the tracking number.

I'm just annoyed because now my postcards will go out with the holiday rush and get blended in with all of the Christmas cards that people receive. I wanted them out early November but that didn't happen. IRONICALLY i have a sleeveless shirt on in the picture... DUH!!!!!

To top it off, neither my FI or FMIL have an address book so i'm waiting on them to give me the addresses of their people.

HOW ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!

UPDATE:
GET THIS IT GETS WORSE---

so today i get an email from them and it says

'Melissa -
When your cards shipped out yesterday I notice that the printing on the back showed some quality issues. I let them ship anyway, but I am going to start another bunch for you right away.Should ship in a couple more days'

are you kidding me???????? should I ask for my money back? I mean if they were having difficulties they should have warned me it would take longer..

UPDATE:

yesterday i got the '1st batch' of my STDS. they printed the wrong version along with the smudge between both of our names on the back. The paper they printed it on was like photopaper, not cardstock.. i'm pretty dissapointed. I emailed them and hopefully they didn't send out the reprints yet and can send me the correct revision- this whole process has been so frustrating....................

oh and one of my friends though i'd better send them out now b/c pretty soon it would be too late??? Yesterday was exactly 6 months what do you think?

I would be scorching mad myself. That is very unreliable of them I would refrain from doing business with them in future if I were in your shoes. Do not even recommend them to anyone.

Well that was my goal of posting my rant, so that anyone on here even considered using them they'd have second thoughts........

the are an online vendor that I found b/c i wanted to use postcards for STDs..located in Arizona

They should at least reimburse a part of the money for their tardiness.

I feel your pain. FH had a computer meltdown and lost his entire guest list. He promised it would be rebuilt by last Friday (not the Friday after Thanksgiving, the week before) and still doesn't have it done, so I can't even order them because I don't know how many. Between the holidays and the January postage increase, I'm going to shoot him!!

You should definitely complain and at least get part of the money back for the inconvenience.

I think it's a good thing to be out during the Christmas season - it gives people a break from the same cards over and over again - cute dog w/Santa hat, and the kids in the various velvet outfits. When people open the mail expecting a Xmas card, they open your STD and technically 'wedding announcement' and will get happy!!!!

As far as the quality issues and the BS you're going through w/this company....

Wait for the second batch to come in, decide if you're happy w/that, and if you're not - ask for a partial refund.
