STD Stamps (boring topic, I know!)

STD Stamps (boring topic, I know!)

FH was trying to be helpful today and went to the post office to buy our STD stamps... I told him to get the Love or any type of heart ones... but of course he got the Liberty Bell ones bc 'they were the only ones they had.'

What should I do? Send them out with liberty bell stamps? Does anyone notice? Or otherwise I'm stuck with 80 stamps... that could take me a VERY long time to use up. Do you think the post office makes exchanges?

I would hope the post office might exchange if you took to someone really nice but if not I would just use them. Thats money you can use for something else besides if you are stuck with them do you mail things out that often ??

Go to the post office and see if you can exchange them.. tell them what the stamps are for.. i am sure its not the first time someone has done that!

For my E-party invites I got stuck with these beauties

I couldn't handle putting that dude on my invites soI went to another post office and got different stamps.. they were a little more expensive b/c they were the next class up but I didn't care at all! I wound up with the dragonfly one.
Its really pretty!

And BTW.... you can not return or exchange stamps. I was begging but they said no.

So I have 100 Old guy stamps!

i used the liberty bell on my STDs. i think it's totally fine.

i honestly do not notice a stamp when i recieve something in the mail....unless it was that guy haha

Thank you all for being the voice of reason. We're realllly trying to stick to our budget and with the $40 I saved by not buying new stamps I can order the cocktail napkins I wanted instead! FH does not agree with my reasoning.

So STDs are all stamped, sealed and ready to be mailed!

So did we bc FH didnt like the love ones since he said the heart looks like a serpent! The only reason I knew that we used liberty bells was because I got one returned to me
