My task of the day is to order our STD's. My question...does everybody that is getting invited get a STD or just those close to you? I'm just thinking of the task of getting everybody's address from FMIL if it's everybody

From what I know, yes. A save the date goes to everyone that you'll be sending an invitation to.

We don't have a B list but we did have a few people on the original list that we are now undecided about inviting. We didn't send those people a save the date but sent to everyone else. I wouldn't send to B list people in case you can't invite them to the wedding.

I sent save the dates to everyone who was definitely invited – mostly family members and our closest friends. We didn’t send them to co-workers and a few other people we weren’t sure about.
It was a project to get all of the address, but I figured I would have to get it done eventually anyway!

I plan to send save the dates only to people that we are definitely inviting so just family and our closest friends. You will eventually have to get all of their addresses anyway though so what better time to start than now lol Good luck!

My plan is to send them to anyone who is 100% getting an invitation - basically our A-list. I'd much rather someone get an invite who didn't get a save the date, then the other way around!

You should send save the dates to everyone definitely being invited. Only A-listers. You don't want someone to get a save the date then you have a fight with them or don't have space with them. Awkwardddd

I sent them to everyone I definitely want there. There are a few people I am on the fence about so when the time comes I can just send an invite.
