Is this idea cute - or cheesy? I am having a hard time with STDs - I can't find any I really like or that will fit all the information I want to provide on them. I could get them to match my invites, but it will be almost another 300 dollars!!
So, I had this idea to use a picture from our engagement shoot, which is this Weds, and make a postcard on snapfish. I could enter the message through their website and get 100 cards for about 10 dollars. Thoughts? TIA!

So it would be an electronic STD? Or do you get printed postcards? If it's electronic, I'd just be concerned about people that aren't very computer savvy.

ita with this if it electronic, if its not i think you should get a sample first and check out the thickness, if its like a regular picture i would maybe consider mounting it on heavier cardtsock, otherwise it just looks like your sending a pic, jmo

That is a great idea, My e-picture was also my STD! ask you photographer they may also be able to do it for you , mine was include in my package

I think its a cute idea except that when it goes through the mail it may get marked on it (when they run it through machines and when they mark the postage)

Well, I was thinking of doing just regular postcards (not electronic or anything) from Snapfish but I just realized it won't work anyway. We are planning on sending our hotel info along with the STDs, so we need an envelope. ARGH!!! Driving me bonkers.

I like the idea. You don't necessarily have to send hotel info also. Put the hotel info on your wedding website and note it at the bottom of the photo.

do it on vista print!! u can make a postcard and use ur picture and put the info on there or just do the magnets i did the large magnets and got cards and wrote a note in them i got 100 of each with envelopes for $110 with shipping

I'm a little challenged when it comes to DIY / vistaprint. I can't figure out that website - it never works for me. It's a good idea though, I will keep that in mind. Especially since I could get envelopes if I need to. Thanks!
