STD/Room Block question

STD/Room Block question

I am in the process of doing my save the dates and was wondering if you guys enclosed your room block info for the out of towners?

I was thinking of printing a business card with the hotel info and putting it in the family members that are far away and know they are comingto the wedding. does that sound good or should I not do it?

I didn't, but I put my wedding website on them which has all that info.

I was wondering the same thing... but I think I might include the hotel block information with the Save the Date cards...I feel that it gives the out of town people more time to make their travel plans....

Did you decide what you are going to do?

I am in the process of doing this too. I just got a card printed. Here is what we wrote

A block of rooms is reserved at the
insert hotel name here
insert street address
town, state
Website
phone number

Blocking Code

We are including it in all of them because some of the local people like to have a good time and spend the night. HTH

You can send out the hotel info with the STD. OOT guest appreciate having the info early as possible

09er crashing - I did put the room block info on the STDs. I have a lot of OOT guests and felt that it would be better for them to get the info as early as possible. I didn't do a wedding website (I'm a bad bride) but most of my older relatives wouldn't know what to do with one anyway.

Oh yeah - people actually booked hotel rooms just based on the STD.

I'm definitely including the hotel block info on the STDs...the earlier the OOTers have the info, the better.

I put the room block card in with the STD's for BP members and OOT'ers. Everyone else will get them with the invite.

i got an enclosure card to put my STD magnets in...so i printed the hotel block info on the back of the enclosure card.

We printed basic information on a card with the save the date along with 'for more information please see our website at ...'
We have tons of out of town guests so we figured we should give them all a heads up. Pics are in my album
