STD's...

What the latest you can send out save the dates? Is it too late for me for an October wedding?

absolutely not! I think they said 4-6 months but I sent mine out earlier because our wedding falls on labor day weekend and we thought we'd let those people who typically make vacation plans 1 year in advance know way ahead of time

goodluck!

not at all! We (re: I) procrastinated and didn't send them out until June or July. So you are definitely still fine to send them out.

Whew! Good. I think we are doing our engagement shoot in May, so I was thinking late May, early June...still good as far as time goes?

Not sure. Any suggestions? I like the idea of the magnets, but how are they costwise?

We did magnets from Magnet Queen. We held out for the sale price which meant that they took longer to get back. We thought they were great and a good buy for the money. Our guests loved them too. Really fantastic quality, and several of our friends who are getting married this year liked them so much that they are now using them too. We also found the magnet as a really good reminder of our website address, and then slipped in a piece of paper with our password on it.

Best advice would be take a look at the number of people you are inviting. Dollar for dollar, you will probably spend less on post cards, but those are also something that may get tossed or overlooked more easily, whereas the magnet will go up on the fridge and stay up for a while. If you do decide to go the magnet route, take a look at what designs you get for the cost. Some companies are more limited in sizes, shapes, and again designs ideas.
