So....curious to know..if you're guest list has as a very first 'rough' draft 275 people on it -how many STD's do you send out? Is it suppose to be only for family & close, close friends?
Im confused~!

Re: STD's
im basically only sending std's to oot town guests--and one per family..
the only people who will get them locally are our immediate families and the bridal party..any one other than that i don't want to be locked into inviting

This was my train of thought. Ive had people say not to lock yourself into having to invite everyone that you send a STD to. So...I just got engaged a week ago -what month should I send the STD's out & roughly how many? A finalized list?

I think it's recommended to send STD's about 9 months to a year in advance of the wedding.

Re: STD's
you can send them out now if you want since your wedding is almost a year away. i would send them only to those you definitely want there.... bc once an STD is sent then you can't retract an invite.... i am sending to close family, friends and OOT'ers.

Also, be careful that you are definitely going to invite these people to your wedding (barring unforseen circumstances). You don't want to send out 275 STDs, but only invite 200 of those people.
