STDs!

Hi ladies,

FH and I were discussing our STDs last night. I was under the impression that you send them to the people you really want to be there, close friends and family. FH thinks we should send them to everyone on our guest list, since we need reach a minimum of 130 and we do have quite a few OOT guests. What did you girls do? TIA!

Re: STDs!

that was the same exact mindset me and fh had...i agreed with you and he agreed with your FH!
In the end, it wasnt worth arguing so what we agreed on:
sending to all family members and bridal party 1 year in advance
then about 7 months in advance he sent them to allll his friends and i only sent to certain people

he will agree now though that he shouldnt have sent them all bc some people he sent one to he isnt as close with anymore and he wants to invite more people now that he is closer with but our numbers are already too high

That is a good compromise. Send out to family/bridal party/close friends 1 year in advance...and to the rest 7 months in advance...didn't think about spitting it up. Thanks!

I sent my STDs to everyone on our guest list. That way, everyone knows your date and will not plan a vacation (or something else that they have plan do in advance) for the weekend you're getting married. It helps clear up any confusion, since the invitations don't go out before a couple of months before the big day!

Good luck planning :)

We sent them to everyone who is def. on the guest list. (Remember after they get their STD there is no turning back!). If you have a minimum you want to meet and alot of your guests are OOT I would def. send them to everyone!

This! But remember that etiquette states that whoever receives a STD should also receive an invite so anyone you are iffy on, I wouldn't send a STD to.
